Pan-Pot - T0679013773Pan-Pot is a firework display of world-class juggling performed to live piano music by classical masters Liszt, Mozart and Beethoven, and modern composer Ligiti. On a bare stage lit in mood and colour inspired by American abstract painter Mark Rothko, sombre-suited jugglers use white balls to create cascades of fizzing light. Like showers of shooting stars, objects fly from hand to hand with precision, grace and awesome speed, building to a spectacular climax. Based in Toulouse, Collectif Petit Travers brings together stage performers, designers, directors, writers and musicians to create new theatre using circus arts. Pan-Pot is their latest show and brings the group to the London International Mime Festival for its third consecutive appearance.Producer Collectif Petit Travers. Le Petit Travers - T0895980879A performance from the French circus and juggling ensemble Collectif Petit Travers. Nicholas Mathis and Denis Fargeton are two highly-strung musicians living in a basement room. Trying to get along together is proving tough, tensions are rising and so is the water pressure... Le Petit Travers features music, dark comedy and immaculately choreographed object manipulation. A delightful show for everyone and a definite must-see for contemporary circus and juggling fans.

T1004209840Aerial artistry, acrobatics, dance and world class object manipulation are the vital ingredients in this enthralling show from a trio of France's leading young circus artists. They came together at the Lido Circus School in Toulouse (whose alumni include Aurelien Bory and members of Compagnie 111) and were major prize winners at the Jeunes Talents Cirque showcase in Paris in 2004. Rounding off LIMF 2008 at the Purcell Room in sensational style, the UK premiere of Le Parti pris des Choses is visual theatre with brains as well as bravado.
