Details

Sadler's Wells Connect has a reputation for its innovative and ambitious creative learning programme uniting professional artists, aspiring choreographers and dancers of all ages to present dance which inspires and excites. The annual Connect Festival features breathtaking performances, engaging work-shops and informative seminars. The Festival opens with Sadler's Wells resident Company of Elders, recently celebrated by BBC1's Imagine documentary. Constantly inspiring, these dancers, aged from 61 to 87, prove it's never too late to start dancing and present a full evening of work in their compelling signature style. Young dancers from across the capital will be performing their latest choreography in Roar!, Jam Free and Youth Dance SpaceXchange. Fast Forward sees Sadler's Wells joining forces with All Change to celebrate the talents of young people in Islington. The FATHoM Project, a collective specialising in inclusive dance, theatre, film and music, presents an engaging double bill of new work by Adam Benjamin and Molly Sturges. Rounding off the Festival is Big Dance Platform showcasing emerging artists and community groups.
