Cork City Ballet’s national tour comes to The Helix, where they present a suite from The Sleeping Beauty, along with a series of sparkling divertissements in Act 1, which include Alan Foley’s ballet Gira Con Me with music by Josh Groban, and La Vivandiere from the repertoire of the Kirov Ballet. The company will also present the Pas d’esclaf from the seafaring ballet Le Corsaire, and in keeping with the ethos of promoting contemporary and modern dance, this production will feature Willing & Able - a new jazz-ballet to music by Prince, created by three different choreographers including Patricia Crosbie, Alan Foley and the Australian choreographer Cher Roberts.
