Mugam's Secret and Smack - Two exciting new works from Lea Dance, One, a solo exploring a secret sixteenth century language developed to express forbidden desire, the other a trio exploring the extremes of sound and expression. Classical Indian and contemporary dance integrated to striking effect with playful intent and deadly accuracy. Recollected - Explores the urge for the sensation of motion. In a series of solos and duets, three performers reveal a high-speed diary of their physical experiences.
