Seeing Differently is a thoughtful collaboration of Indian classical dance, music and film. Dancers and film depict the story of the transformation of Indian classical dance from its roots to the modern stage through the eyes of an Indian dancer. Taking you on an extraordinary journey, Dance Ihayami crosses the boundaries between traditional and contemporary Indian dance. Rhythmic footwork, meaningful hand gestures and facial expressions of pure Indian classical dance are explored in a contemporary setting to create an evocative and powerful dance experience.
