Let Darkin Ensemble take you to underground Paris. The year is 1890 and an outbreak of hysteria is sweeping the city. At Paris' notorious asylum, La Salpetriere, 4000 patients are treated the world's greatest living doctor. He studies bodies to discover a new science of the mind. She is his favourite case, admitted to the asylum for attacks of severe hysteria, her name is Augustine. She is fifteen years old. The company of five dancers tell secret stories of the body.
