Open Spaces - Tidal Edits/The Wayside/Come on Sun - Excerpt
Open Spaces - Tidal Edits - Choreographed and perfromed by Jo, Open Spaces - Tidal Edits uses the body and the projected image in a performance created in collaboration with animator Filip Arcada. Featuring music by Jean David Caillouet with Piano Extracts by Peter Hoyes this work premiered in Summer 06 to fantastic response.
The Wayside - Laila Diallo premieres an engaging new solo. Choreographed and performed by Diallo, the solo features Lhasa de Sela’s stirring song Llegar hasta tu lado and sees the reunion of favored team of collaborators: Andy Downie, Theo Clinkard and Phil King, who respectively contribute lighting, costume and sound design.
Come on Sun - Excerpt - Jane Mason presents an excerpt from her current full length solo work ‘Come on Sun’, initially created for the 2006 Place Prize featuring music by long time collaborator Jules Maxwell. Jane's work traces the tangible contours of internal emotional landscapes, and the exquisite and devastating detail of their unfoldings.
