Mere Skin and Bone is a brand new duet that investigates movement through the relationship between cause and effect. Dancers are shifted through unfamiliar motion, finding precarious places and spaces for the body to journey. Impulses are caught, fractured but never laid to rest, creating a bold and visceral language of movement. Sans is a humorous, witty trio based only on the dancers' presence and movements. Martine has chosen to work with three performers who have each followed a specific route in their personal history with dance. Sans looks for a way of 'being' in a theatre space. In a performance how much is true and how much is fake, how much is theatrical and how much is acting?
