Following the success of the 2013 collaboration with Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, the Creative Learning team at NWT have once again joined forces with the young people of Merton to create a brand new production for 2014. Nine local groups of young people will once again take to the main stage of NWT in a production inspired by the classic Broadway musical, West Side Story. With stunning choreography by Boy Blue Entertainment, the Laurence Olivier awarded hip-hop theatre and dance company, East & West promises to be a thrilling evenings entertainment, taking us from the trenches of the Great War to the streets of 21st Century Merton. Participating groups this year; Cricket Green School, Harris Academy Merton, Harris Academy Morden, Merton MENCAP, Perseid School, Ricards Lodge High School, SHINE Merton Saturday School, The SMART Centre, Uptown UK
