Eko dance brings together highly experienced dancers and musicians, all trained in African technique to present a compilation of traditional dances from across the Continent. Ekomefeemo ('making one together') is a fusion of traditional and contemporary African and European dance and music designed to reflect the differences between the dance experiences of both the choreographers and dancers. The dance is performed to live music and a recorded soundtrack of music and spoken word.
