On Saturday the 6th of September, fifteen couples take the floor to compete in the second Eurovision Dance Contest. Each couple is made up out of a professional dancer and a national celebrity and in two minutes, each couple has to show all they've got. After each performance, the jury will give their verdict. The UK will be represented by The Bill star, Louisa Lytton and Vincent Simone who were dancing partners in Strictly Come Dancing. A professional jury and YOU, along with viewers from across Europe, will decide who wins the 2008 Eurovision Dance Contest. The show is a two-hour and 15 minutes programme produced by Splash Media and Sunset + Vine. Splash Media Productions is managed by the two main creators of the internationally renowned and highly successful format Strictly Come Dancing, while Sunset + Vine is the UK’s biggest sports producer, well connected to the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF).
