An evening of bitesize extracts from the freshest companies in contemporary dance for teens or anybody up for a high speed, fierce, go-getting performance. Youth and professional dance companies share a stage for one night only. Be inspired and get energised with this annual opportunity to load up on exciting ideas and physical wonderment. Get a first glimpse of Tony Adigun's Fagin's Twist (coming to The Place in Autumn 2016), a surprising take on Dickens' classic Oliver Twist inspired by contemporary and hip hop styles. After recent sold-out shows LOL (Lots of Love) and Border Tales, Protein lets you into their latest piece May Contain Food (coming to The Place in Spring 2016), a brand new concept-performance experienced through sight, sound and taste. Shift, The Place's very own Youth Company perform their new work choreographed by Theo Clinkard.
