Fresh is an evening of dance with and for young people. Uniquely at Fresh, dynamic youth companies share the bill with top professional artists. An evening of outstanding dance with and for young people is served up by the new-look Fresh. The mixed bill brings together some of the country’s best young dancers companies with an unbeatable line-up of professional artists. The pros include the companies of Henri Oguike, Andile Sotiya, Maresa von Stockert and Martin Lawrance, plus Simon and Adam Cooper performing a duet choreographed by Wayne McGregor to music by Marilyn Manson. Alongside them perform Shift, The Place’s young dancers company, and the youth companies of Laban, Henri Oguike and Bedfordshire Youth Dance. With a break for music and games in the middle, it’s a fun night out for young dance-lovers – and the perfect introduction to anyone new to contemporary dance. Adults must be accompanied by an under-18.
