Al Arabiya come together to present thejoyful and colourful dances of the rarely-seen regional folkloric music and dance of Algeria, Morocco, Egypt,Libya, Tunisia, the Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and beyond. A very special local community show for all ages,experience the magic of Middle Eastern dance. About Funoon - Funoon al Arabiya is a growing organisation - based in the North of England and drawing on the inspirational talents and potential of local promoters and performers of Middle Eastern dance. Since 2012 Funoon al Arabiya has been developing a series of dance shows uniting performers, choreographers and teachers of Middle Eastern extraction now based in the UK with Funoon's own company of dancers and choreographers, and with exciting guest performers specially selected from the local dance communities.
