An evening of solo and group work, Ta has its roots firmly in the classical technique of traditional kathak, but innovatively explores the relationship between dance and live music, performed by celebrated tabla player Sanju Sahai and vocalists Faheem Mazhar and Reena Bhardwaj. The synthesis of inventive dance, magical singing and traditional music presents a powerful and atmospheric performance - evocative, vibrant and fresh.
