The Genée International Ballet Competition returns to London after an absence of 3 years. It promotes and rewards standards of excellence and attracts young ballet dancers from all over the world. This year's Final will see some of the most talented young dancers in the world perform their choice of classical works, 21st century solos (choreographed by Antony Dowson) and the world premiere of two specially commissioned solos by Michael Corde. These brilliant young dancers are put through their paces in one of the leading international ballet competitions. Even the audience has the chance to participate with an audience vote - an institution in its own right.
