Gimp examines the uncompromising ways we are often identified or defined by our physicality. It is about beauty, not the photo-shopped, airbrushed kind, but a harsher more unexpected one. Gimp is a collision of two worlds that are not supposed to co-exist and turns on its head accepted notions of dance, performance and body image.
