T154916597Lions Clubs International is proud to present, all the way from Gomel in the Republic of Belarus, on their first visit to the South East of England, 'Gomiy' Belarus Song and Dancing Troupe. The ensemble was formed in 1982 and consists of up to 25 performers, all united in their love of music, songs and dance. Musicians, singers and dancers perform with extra-ordinary skill and vigour, demonstrating a traditional evening of Belarusian entertainment. The ensemble have performed in France, Scotland, Belgium, Germany, Norway and Bulgaria. The Lions Clubs in the South East of England are creating this cultural tour all over the region and the profits from this charitable event will be put towards the re-building of the dilapidated roof of an orphanage in Gomel. | |
