Inspired by author Caradoc Evans' controversial collection of short-stories of the same name, this new dance theatre co-production sees Gwyn Emberton and his company of international dancers delve into the dark, turbulent, and mythical world of Manteg. Combining a powerful cinematic score by Benjie Talbott and Tic Ashfield with dynamic and intricate choreography audiences will be taken on the haunting but beautiful journeys of some the book's most memorable characters. With 2015 the centenary of the book, My People is acelebration of one of Wales' most beloved/hated books and revered/feared writers by a new choreographic voice in Welsh dance theatre.
