The audience is transported into the surreal and flamboyant world of traditional circus in this trio incorporating text and fearless physicality. 'Faked' examines the sensations and feelings behind the mask and make-up of a performer. A parade of eccentric characters - devised in collaboration with theatre director Mark Whitelaw - share a space divided by plexi-glass and mirrors, creating a magical world where inner and outer realities are at play. The programme also includes 'Butterfly Belly', Hanna and Heidi's wry dance quest in search of ultimate happiness.
