Since he burst onto the scene in 1996, Henri Oguike has become a leading force in dance. Combining technical virtuosity with the immediacy of live music, his work has won numerous awards and given a creative blood transfusion to the world of contemporary dance. By turns thundering and gentle, visceral and flirtatious, the work of this dynamic young company. The matinee features a behind the scenes insight into the company and the performance of two pieces from their current repertoire: Oguike's signature piece Front Line and Tiger Dancing, inspired by Blake's poem. The evening repertoire includes the premieres of Green in Blue and Little Red, Tiger Dancing and Expression Lines with compositions by Vivaldi, Ali Farka Toure, Steve Martland and Iain Ballamy.
