Melancholy Thoughts/Shot Flow/Front Line
Melancholy Thoughts - is a work for six dancers set to Astor Piazzolla's Histoire du Tango.
Shot Flow - is an exciting duet which explores the relationship between two people governed by their environment, with physical and emotional energy reacting to shifts of rhythm, disturbances and interruptions in their surroundings. With a rising score by fast-rising Portuguese composer Pedro Carneiro, this duet blends music, light and movement in a sexy, almost cinematic drama of fluctuating emotions.
Front Line - a sextet to Shostakovich 9th Quartet in E Flat. Shifting moods, squealing instruments, wild stamping dances represent the composer's retreat into thoughts of death and stillness.
