Sadler's Wells New Wave Associate Hetain Patel is a visual artist whose work for the stage has been attracting growing acclaim. His practice crosses a number of art forms with the body and identity as core concerns. Major international institutions have shown his work including Tate Modern and the Southbank Centre, Sydney Festival, Bodhi Art New York, Ullens Centre for Contemporary Arts in China and Chaterjee and Lal in Mumbai.

World Premiere. In his latest work, Hetain explores the diverse influences on his life so far, ranging from Bruce Lee to Spiderman. Using a mixture of traditional and modern media, he explores how cultural identities are constructed.
