Bread and Circuses Blood/Catharses/Of the Earth from Where I Came/Fyra - T107670095Witness the collision of creativity of four choreographers from four very different countries, in an evening of dance theatre that is affecting, beautiful and challenging with risk and collaboration at its heart. iCoDaCo brings together the work of four truly international independent dance artists: Israel Aloni (Sweden), Lee Brummer (England/Israel), Ido Batash (Israel/Holland) and Aberystwyth Arts Centre Associate Artist Gwyn Emberton (Wales). Ido Batash explores his naive desire to return to nature without knowing what it really means to live there in Bread and Circuses Blood. In Aloni's duet Catharses, he sets aside the well-trodden path of society's struggle with the female, in a powerful celebration of the female. Emberton's solo Of the earth from where I came, shows life pass through a body; from the abundance of youth, to its last moments, before it returns back to the earth. Fyra is a wholly original and edgy new work created and performed by the four choreographers, offering audiences a rare insight into a unique dance theatre experiment.Choreographer Ido Batash (Bread and Circuses Blood).
