Ballet for all the family: Images of Dance's talented student dancers, directed by former Royal Ballet principal Margaret Barbieri, serve up three sparkling new ballets, ranging from the elegant classicism of Renato Paroni's Dvorak's Serenade to the lush splendour of Tchaikovsky in American choreographer Dominic Walsh's first English commission Subluminous. Christopher Marney (Ballet Boyz, New Adventures) closes this entertaining evening with his glamorously-costumed comedy of manners - a witty 1930s "take" on Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals. This performance at the Peacock Theatre includes a special tribute to former Royal Ballet dancer David Ashmole, A Deux Mains, choreographed by Jamie Carter and danced by three guest artists from the Sarasota Ballet (USA).
