Acclaimed creators of Wrapped, Oyster and Shaker, all seen in Dance Umbrella festivals, Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak are known for their ability to weave fantasy, drama and comedy in their work. The surreal and enchanting Hydra is danced by a cast of 12 stellar performers. Inspired by a Japanese fable, the journey unfolds in a tender, playful and powerful way using a seamless blend of dance, mime and acrobatics. Along with extraordinary costumes and use of props, Pinto and Pollak create highly imaginative choreography described by a Japanese critic as being 'hypnotising in its beauty'.
