2 Hard 2 Breathe/Unfold Tour - T013100365992 Hard to Breathe takes a hard hitting journey through the eyes of a male-centric urban world and explores the sometimes difficult male relationships of father/son, brothers and peer friendships that seek to shape a man's character and the internal battle that takes place as a result of this as they strive to be true to themselves. Using a mixture of Street, Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance, this multi-media show performed by an all male dance company incorporates dance theatre, lyrics, music and film to explore the issues and pressures of being a man in today’s society. Unfold is a work for five men that takes a humorous, long look at the subtext of communication based on living in urban society and challenges the audiences to speak their minds. The piece takes a close up look at every day situations and behaviors. At first the characters hold back their true emotions, interacting politely but superficially.
