Jasmin Vardimon Company (JVC) is one of Britain's most pioneering physical dance theatre companies, creating work that excites both the eye and the mind by pushing the boundaries of human physicality whilst engaging in universal, contemporary themes that strike an emotional chord. Vardimon's powerful art of story-telling integrates multiple layers of communication - combining dance, movement, video, animation, text and music. The founder and artistic director of Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company (formerly Zbang Dance Company), Israeli-born Jasmin Vardimon has shown her work at national and international dance festivals, and toured to theatres in Slovenia, Israel, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania. Her recent work Tête, which was commissioned by The Place for Spring Loaded 1999, has been performed 55 times in 15 countries and is still touring.
