A fresh voice in British dance, choreographer Joe Moran(semi-finalist Place Prize 2012) brings three distinctive new dance works to Lakeside's Djanogly Gallery 2, and theatre. Beginning in the gallery, Survey is a compelling solo for dancer Marina Collard which contrasts abstract movement against the physicality of the dancer. In the theatre, Obverse, commissioned for The Place Prize, is a powerful trio danced to a striking score in which dancers' physical and perceptual virtuosity is tested from one moment to the next. The Swarm Duet plays on the edges of chance to set free the poetry and immediacy of dance. Running time: approx. 90mins including interval.
