Johara Dance Company uses a dazzling mix of Contemporary East/West Fusion dance to tell an age-old tale of love, murder and revenge. Comedy, attempted cannibalism and vibrant dancing are all on the menu in this exciting new show from Josephine Wise. The story we tell may at first appear familiar, but the dark undercurrent is very strong. Which of us is wholly good or bad? Johara Dance is a unique company specialising in Contemporary Bellydance fused with other styles and movement structures. You may glimpse more than a hint of Tango, African Dance, Flamenco, Gypsy and much more besides! What will you see in the darkness of the mirror? Recommended for anyone aged 16 or over or above 12 if accompanied by an adult. The performance will run for approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes including a 20 minute interval.
