Shinla - The wind blowing in the universe
In a world where contradiction and struggle have replaced traditional human values Shinla unearths the universal truth. It is a symbolic and fantastical journey that explores the true spirit and values of 'Bushi-do' (the traditional art of living as a Samurai) - the merging of moral behaviour and spiritual power to pursue the truth - and their necessity in 21st Century living. It also uses human Bunraku (Japanese life-size puppets) in its demonstration of the invisible energies that are born from the universe and united with the human spirit to create the dynamic natural world in which we live.
