Choreographer/artist La Ribot Maria Ribot uses her fascination with the dynamic of los espontaneous (the spectators who jump into the bullring after the fight and steal the show from the bullfighter) where reality interacts with spontaneity to create a raw and sometimes dangerous performance. La Ribot's espontaneous are untrained London-based individuals who will have worked together for four hours a day over just five days. During the performance, they inhabit a space filled with an enormous carpet of furniture, colourful objects and clothes. They construct and deconstruct. They dress up with love. They laugh with honesty. They reveal the passion, vulnerability and openness of their everyday actions.
