REfract - entwines east and west in a duet of two entities, neither flesh or shadow, sculpted by the forces of life and water. Mugam's Secret is the tale of desire and expression inspired by Mugam, the sixteenth century secret language used by men to express their forbidden desires. A woman now takes up the challenge revealing the unexpected and playing with convention. Livid; luscious, languid and lethal is an exploration of Bharatanatyam, martial arts and contemporary dance with 'fragmented moments and hidden thought whispered'.
