Referencing the gestures and atmosphere of 1930's American swing, the performers explore the experience of variation and shifting roles. Light hearted and physical, Ja, Ja - der dritte mann sees two men jump, get dizzy, struggle against their bodies and the space around them. The show title translated means "yes, yes, the third man" suggesting an invisible third man present only through the words of German poet, Ernst Jandl. | |
