Performance group from this world famous school. For the past 16 years Collaborations has been a landmark of London Contemporary Dance School's performance calendar. These evenings showcase the culmination of three parallel projects in which undergraduate students from London Contemporary Dance School are paired with either design students from Wimbledon College of Art, composers from Guildhall School of Music & Drama or moving image students from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. The pieces that emerge are a bold and imaginative mix of ideas: the design work ranges from large scale constructions to innovative uses of the theatre itself; the music pieces are an assortment of live ensembles and electronic scores; whilst the moving image collaborations investigate the relationship between the body, camera and movement. Experience work that challenges the roles of dancer, musician, designer and film-maker.
