Performance group from this world famous school. An evening of dance that draws together the work of London Contemporary Dance School's Postgraduate Choreography alumni. Simonetta Alessandri?s Dog Roses was created in collaboration with the alumnae performers Giuliana Majo, Stephanie McMann and Flora Wellesley Wesley. The work looks at the choreographic process, incorporating rhythms and patterns through the dancers' use of voice. Strange Loop, an inspiring duet performed by LCDS alumnae Charlotte Ashwell and Kirsty Arnold, and choreographed by Marguerite Caruana Galizia. Influenced by the work of M. C. Escher, the work blends live performance with real time projection. Place Prize 2011 finalist and Place Prize 2012 commissioned artist Eva Recacha will present her duet Story Lines. Performed with impeccable precision by LCDS alumni Lola Maury and Antonio de la Fe Guedes (Place Prize 2011 finalist); this playful work combines rhythmic patterns with physical comedy and theatre. This evening celebrates the work produced by the alumnae of our postgraduate choreography course spanning a period of 11 years, each work is performed by members of London Contemporary Dance School's alumni.
