Performance group from this world famous school. An opportunity to see new works from across the postgraduate department ranging from group choreographies to selected previews from the School's acclaimed postgraduate performance company, EDge. This year EDge is a strong and diverse ensemble of three men and nine women, all trained at the world's most notable dance conservatoires from across the UK, Europe and America. The 2012 programme features new full length pieces by leading international artists, including Matthias Sperling, James Wilton plus works by Rachel Lopez de la Nieta and Tony Adigun, both specially co-commissioned by The Place and Dance Umbrella for Alston Takes Cover, which was performed in Dance Umbrella 2011.
