Marc Brew Company have been making performance in the UK and internationally for the past 10 years. We collaborate with a range of disabled and non-disabled performers/artists to reveal the unusual and the inspiring in the everyday and mundane. Choreographer Marc Brew is renowned for his tender, precise, material that exemplifies the beauty of the moments shared between people. The choreography draws out the unexpected physicality of each performer, helping them to find new ways to work with their bodies, entwining this newly discovered movement with the emotive nature of human interaction to tell beautiful stories about being. Acclaimed Glasgow based performer and choreographer Marc Brew presents an evening of meditative dance exploring his past as an elite ballet dancer and for the first time since his car accident in 1997, his body as it is now. Filmed in the forests below the Cairngorm Mountains in the Central Highlands of Scotland, Uath Lochans is the first collaboration between Brew and screendance artists Katrina McPherson and Simon Fildes. The film originates from a commission for an inclusive dance performance created in Perth and Kinross- Water and Glass.
