Formerly Diversions NDCWales' Discover Dance is an interactive matinee for families, featuring dancers performing in the company's Spring 2018 Tour show. Discover Dance is ideal for primary school children as a fun, relaxed and engaging introduction into creativity and dance. As part of the 90 minute session, children get the chance to dance on stage with NDCWales dancers, ask questions and learn excerpts of the Company's show. After the interval, the children will have the opportunity to watch our dancers perform. Discover Dance is lively, open and relaxed and an interesting introduction to dance. It provides an opportunity for young people to have fun and engage with creativity out of the classroom and to develop their confidence, communication, creativity, critical thinking and improve their cultural awareness. Thousands of young people who have participated in them have been left feeling inspired and enthusiastic, more aware and more involved in creativity.
