Formerly Diversions Dream - The acclaimed Dream, from world-celebrated choreographer Christopher Bruce, is a breathtaking celebration of the excellence and achievement of Britain in its Olympic year. Dream has received standing ovations from London to Shanghai, and Cardiff to Llandudno as audiences have been swept away by dance that rejoices in the sheer exuberance of physical movement. Noces - Exploring the fantasy and ritual of weddings, the renowned Angelin Preljocaj's Noces is an astonishing spectacle of dynamic movement and evocative costumes performed to Igor Stravinsky's exquisite score, Les Noces. Virtual Descent - Award-winning Company dancer and House Choreographer Eleesha Drennan presents her latest work Virtual Descent with a recording of a newly-commissioned percussion concerto from BBC National Orchestra of Wales' resident composer Mark Bowden. On the 5th March there will also be Dance Shorts. Dance Shorts is a taste of new and exciting dance free in the foyer 30 minutes before National Dance Company of Wales. Tanja R?man of TaikaBox is this season's Dance Shorts artist, this is a chance for audiences to see 10 minutes of fresh hot dance from Welsh dance artists National Dance Company Wales (NDCWales) - Dream/Noces/Virtual Descent website.
