New Art Club was formed in 2001 by Tom Roden and Pete Shenton and is fuelled by their shared spirit of adventure. Loved by audiences and critics alike, they create work which is a unique and beautifully engineered blend of physical and verbal lunacy.Since winning the Edinburgh Spotlight Best Comedy Award for Big Bag of Boom in 2010 they have had an unbroken two years of success garnering praise from critics and audiences alike in the UK and abroad.

Cupid and Psyche, The Improvised Dance Show
In collaboration with some friends from near and further away, New Art Club will attempt to tell the convoluted and bewildering story of Cupid and Psyche. Working with a combination of dance, theatre and comedy plus some spontaneous improvisation and a little help from the audience the ensemble will get under the skin of the classical myth and its characters. Expect some profound dancing, stupid props, people falling in love and some audience participation. Studio
