Spiced with the music of ABBA , Pet Shop Boys and Michael Jackson, we confront a woman and two men on board their own Ship of Fools, an allegorical vessel without a helmsman or captain, seemingly ignorant of their own direction. Each is bound in a closed, protected world of their own. Nevertheless their encounters are inevitable. As the boundaries that separate the performers are crossed, their personal baggage falls apart and becomes exposed. 'Who is the fool? Us or them?' Both entertaining and thought-provoking, this work examines the fragile encounter between the human need to protect one's distinctiveness from destruction and a yearning for acceptance.
