Forgetting Natasha & Agnes and Walter - T1178192739

Natasha is forgetting who she is. When she first discovered she was losing her memory, Natasha wrote down the story of her life...the problem is, she can’t remember where she put it. What will Natasha be without her memories? Will she disappear? If she can’t remember, did she ever exist, and even if she finds her book, will it be too late? Directed by Heather Eddington, this new multi-layered performance from State of Flux Dance Company uses dance, poetry and digital media to tell the touching and poetic story of one woman’s experience of dementia. Agnes and Walter: A Little Love Story is inspired by the short story The Secret Life of Walter Mitty by James Thurber. Two characters, trapped in a superficially mundane existence, delve into their private worlds of daydreams and fantasy, secret wishes and suppressed desires to ensure their relationship survives. Their unusual love story is told through dance, theatre and music.Choreographer Heather Eddington. Choreographer Neil Paris.
