Nine 'Rasa' or emotions are fundamental elements in Indian aesthetics, the quintessence of all creative ventures. Nine is an innovative production incorporating Dance-Drama-Poetry, Tagore music and contemporary themes to depict the psychological journey of a modern woman living in London. From dawn to dusk, her experience of the whole gamut of emotive states or Rasas (from child abuse and terrorism to love, wonder and peacefulness) connects her to the eternal womanhood and timelessness.
