Parchaiyan - (Shadows), created in 1998 for two dancers. An ideal introduction to Kathak dance, it contains expressive, narrative sections as well as pure dance and demonstrates Kathak's range of skills and moods, from rich, dramatic mime to delicacy and grace. My Motherland - is a passionate new work, exploring Siddiqui's own journeys as an individual and as an artist working in the East and the West. Her unique style is visually rich, mesmerising, multi-layered with images, with music from Fahim Mazhar, the renowned Pakistani composer.
