Peter Grist and Company is a dance company based in Manchester, led by Peter Grist, an emerging choreographer who has worked with the likes of Wendy Houston and Henri Oguike. Part 1 looks at the unseen journey of one boy’s life through a run down bar scene where he has nothing else to turn to but drink drugs and sex. Is there any way out of this vicious circle? A physically demanding and visually appealing piece of dance theatre that twists and turns through this world of innocence versus temptation. Part 2 is about a broken down relationship while Part 3 is is an exploration of the private self and the public self touching on aspects of masculinity.
