Pierre Rigal has presented his work across the world including acclaimed shows at London's Breakin' Convention at Sadler's Wells, The Gate Theatre, Baryshnikov Arts Centre in New York and Sydney Opera House. In this performance Rigal has created a compelling dance-theatre experience, driven by the intense energy of his brilliant young hip-hop dancers and a new soundtrack from Nihil Bordures. Press - T1718621923In Press the French choreographer and performer Pierre Rigal explores how our personal space is confined by the pressures of modern life, performing in a specially constructed boxed stage less than three and a half metres wide. Having started his career as a 400 metre runner and hurdler, Rigal then studied maths and economics before training as a contemporary dancer. In Press he sets himself a Houdini-esque choreographic challenge, which evolves into an extraordinary feat of physical prowess and daring.
