Voodoo - T049956887

Over the course of four hours, Project O dance themselves out of the desire and expectation of an aesthetic assimilation. Voodoo's durational unfolding becomes a play with time and subjectivity: a science fiction that addresses the desire, confusion and responsibility felt as individuals, who are also symbols of many long-persecuted people. A ritual that is an attempt to never be caught or trapped, to visit and leave behind former selves, to move and to transform, celebrating the radical power of dance to explore, heal and challenge the violence of systematic oppression that haunts our society.Music Verity Susman. Lighting Sarah Readman. Design Charley Fone. Design Naomi Kuyck-Cohen.
