Unswayed by inconvenient definitions about dance, Silvestrini promises to mix the professional and community casts on one stage in a brand new full length work, Dear Body, a scathing, witty satire on our growing fixation with body image and body care.
Dear Body will employ bodies of literally all shapes and sizes. There will be a professional cast of six dancers and ten amateur performers drawn from the local community. Protein will audition local performers and rehearse them into the show over an intensive two day workshop prior to each performance.
