Written in 1937, Chitraganda is one of the most successful and widely performed musical plays composed by the Indian Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The mythological episode from the epic Mahabharata details the tender moods and scintillating emotions of a bittersweet love affair between a warrior and the Princess of Manipur. Pushplata's delicate and moving musical dance-drama is presented under the direction of Priya Pawar.
